Here is some info on our repair/ replacement process:
If the bar(s) can be repaired the cost is $40 per bar
Sometimes (about 20% of the time) the bar(s) can't be repaired (depending on the nature of the crack).
The bar(s) will need to be replaced.
There is no charge for repairs that are NOT successful.
If a bar repair is attempted and fails, the bar will HAVE to be replaced!
We recommend starting slow and coming up with a budget.
Typically, we recommend attempting the repair. All cracked bars are not stable and will mostly get worse over time (but not always). When we find cracked bars that have very small cracks and the bar(s) has only gone a few cents flat, we can often bring the bar(s) up to pitch and not repair the crack. We will always inform you of these keys. Repair/ replacements is not always the best option.
Feel free to call or email with questions.
